I work with glass as a tool for expressing feelings, and thoughts I have.
I wish to create objects that refer to feelings and possibly question those.
As a person working in glass, different things drive me. I am fascinated with the material, as there are
endless possibilities of manipulating it. Whilst working with glass, I strive to create and develop my own
personal expression in the material.
Also, I respond to the challenge of perfecting the technical skills of working the glass. The physical and
technical work suits my drive, energy and eagerness to push myself and constantly learn new things.
Apart from making my own pieces, I enjoy working with other people. I have travelled and worked within
the glass-community.I find that working in a close partnership with other people giving, as it pushes me
both technically and conceptually.
